Eiffel PhD Scholarships

In 2005, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched a new scholarship programme - Eiffel Doctorate Scholarship - for top-level PhD students. The programme supports the international recruitment initiatives of French higher education centres in attracting future decision-makers in public and private sectors.
Students from emerging-economy regions of the world and from countries of high scientific and educational potential are offered opportunities for a year's study in France, preferably the second or third year of their doctoral thesis course.
The Eiffel Doctorate Scholarship programme addresses foreign students on doctoral thesis courses run in partnership with a French higher education centre, on a joint management or joint tutorship basis.
